Live Host | On-Camera Position
Card Breakers are the face of Apex Trading Company. This position is responsible for hosting live card breaks and wax rips across platforms such as Whatnot, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube while delivering an accurate, engaging, and professional experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Host live card breaks and wax rips on camera
Engage viewers, answer questions, and build community
Accurately track teams, players, and hits during breaks
Handle high-value cards with proper care and protection
Follow all Apex breaking procedures and platform guidelines
Represent the Apex brand with professionalism and integrity
Ideal Candidate
Comfortable speaking on camera for extended periods
Strong knowledge of sports cards and/or TCG
High energy, clear communication
Organized and detail-oriented
Passion for the hobby is required
🟥 BREAKING ASSISTANT
Behind-the-Scenes Support Role
Breaking Assistants support live card breaks behind the scenes. This role ensures speed, accuracy, and protection of all cards during shows and helps keep the breaking operation running smoothly.
Primary Responsibilities
Sort cards during live breaks
Sleeve, top-load, and protect cards properly
Track teams, players, and hits accurately
Assist breakers with workflow and organization
Help with setup, breakdown, and station cleanliness
Support shipping preparation when needed
Ideal Candidate
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Team-oriented mindset
Hobby knowledge helpful but not required
Willingness to learn and grow within the company
🟥 SHIPPING SPECIALIST
Fulfillment & Quality Control
Shipping Specialists ensure every card leaves Apex Trading Company safely, accurately, and professionally. This position is critical to customer satisfaction and brand trust.
Primary Responsibilities
Package and ship cards from live breaks and in-store sales
Use proper card protection methods (sleeves, top loaders, team bags)
Maintain accurate shipping records
Organize shipping supplies and materials
Meet daily and weekly shipping deadlines
Handle high-value items with care
Ideal Candidate
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Reliable and consistent
Comfortable handling collectibles of significant value
Experience shipping cards or collectibles preferred
🟥 SALES ASSOCIATE
In-Store Customer Experience
Sales Associates are the front line of the Apex Trading Company in-store experience. This role focuses on customer service, product knowledge, and maintaining a welcoming shop environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist customers with product selection and questions
Support buy, sell, and trade transactions under store guidelines
Maintain clean, organized displays and cases
Restock products and assist with inventory
Support in-store events, breaks, and promotions
Ideal Candidate
Passion for sports and trading cards
Strong communication and customer service skills
Honest, dependable, and professional
Retail experience helpful but not required
